Our Story
A Legacy of Love, Learning & Growth
Established in 1966
B.D. Memorial Jr. School provides children the first step towards learning. Founded by great visionaries Late Mr. G.N. Khaitan and Late Smt. Draupadi Devi Khaitan, it was envisioned as a happy place where children grow and learn without fear.
Humble Beginnings to a Thriving Community
The school started with one educator and two students in Bansdroni. The two learners grew into many and B.D. Memorial Jr. School kept growing. Now it has five branches. With a belief that respectful, caring bonds with children and their families are the vital foundation for a wonderful early childhood experience, we continue to remind ourselves that we are a community of learners, and our educators and children are always learning and looking for ways to enrich their experiences meaningfully.
Where sounds of children’s laughter can be heard year after year, teachers nurture students with love and care, creating a second home that blends traditional values with modern progressive education.
