B.D. Memorial Jr. School has been an integral part of the Kolkata community for more than 55 years.

Believing that “Play is the work of the child” we have a well-developed Play Policy and offer a play based program for children that helps them to become lifelong learners. Children in their early years need time to play and be physically active. They need to be provided with a constructive and holistic learning environment where their curiosity is fed not just by way of knowledge but positive experiences. Our main emphasis is on fostering the ‘joy of learning’, language enrichment and early communication.

We believe that leaders of tomorrow need to be analytical, creative problem solvers who can adapt comprehensively to any environment however challenging. Our goal is to develop individuals who are mentally alert, morally sound and emotionally well-balanced to face the challenges and adversities of the world.
